Food and wine pairing can be a source of either delight or grief, especially this time of year when nature begins to offer up its bounty – peas, beans, peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, kale, and that especially troublesome pairing nemesis, asparagus. What wine goes with these goodies?
And what about those other foods that set nerves on edge: chili, curry, chocolate, to name a few?
A group of Wine Pairing Weekend bloggers accepts this challenge and is eager to share their experiences about pairings that worked and maybe some that went dangerously awry. You probably have stories, ideas and tips of your own.
Let’s get together on Twitterto chat about “Wine Pairings for Hard to Pair Foods,” Saturday, June 12, starting at 8 am PT/11 am ET.No need to have published a post to join the conversation — just an interest in learning and sharing. Simply follow the #winePW hashtag throughout the hour.
To get started, the following bloggers are dishing up “difficult” food and opening wine to serve alongside. Check out their posts this Saturday and join us for the chat!
